Lindsay Taylor's team wins the French
Challenge |
April 18,
2010
Lindsay season ended with a bang as her team
from Nantes-Rezé won the French Challenge (more
or less the tournament for the teams that did
not make the French Championship). This is
particularly impressive considering this team
finished dead last the previous season with
players like Jessica Moore from Connecticut and
Michele Van Gorp who played at Duke in 98-99',
the year they went to the NCAA finals. Lindsay
scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds in the
final game. This team had a Russian, a
Senegalese player (French association), an
Ukranian (nationalized French), an Australian
and of course an American.
Nantes-Rezé
dominated Lattes Montpellier
Lindsay's scored 19 points in first round
win 74-59 against Montpellier. Nantes then won
the second round 86-67 against Montpellier.
Lindsay had 23 points and 11 rebounds in that
game. |
